Piano Lesson Tuition & Policies
Tuition Fee
Private In-Studio Piano Lesson 1-on-1:

Beginner to Level 5: from $35 (per 30-minute lesson)

Level 6 to Level 10: from $45 (per 30-minute lesson)
🎹Lesson Lengths: 30, 45, or 60 minutes
📍In-Home Travel Fee (Richmond Hill & Markhan): $8 -$10 per visit
🌏Languages: English & Cantonese
Lesson Policies
Payment and Billing
Tuition is paid monthly in advance, based on the number of weeks in the month (4 weeks 4 lessons; 5 weeks 5 lessons).
Payment is due ONE week before the FIRST lesson of each month to secure your regular lesson time.
Accepted payment methods:

e-Transfer (please send a confirmation screenshot once completed)

Cash (please place in an envelope with the student's name)
NO refunds will be issued once payment is received.
Rescheduling and Make-Ups
Your lesson time is reserved exclusively for you, and consistent attendance is important for progress.
Please notify the teacher at least TWO days in advance to reschedule a lesson.
Lessons canceled without sufficient notice will NOT be made up and will be CHARGED.
Make-ups may be offered in case of sudden illness at the teacher’s discretion.
If the teacher cancels, the lesson will be made up or credited.
Online lessons
Online lessons (e.g., via Zoom) are offered when in-person lessons are not possible due to weather, travel, or scheduling needs.
Practice and Expectations
Successful piano study depends on regular practice.
Students who establish good practice habits from the beginning will progress more quickly and find piano practice and lessons more enjoyable.
Photo/Video Release
Photos or videos may be shared on the website or social media. Please provide written notice if you prefer to opt out.
Other Reminders
Lesson time is valuable. Please arrive on time for your scheduled lesson.
Phone calls will not be answered during teaching hours. Please leave a voicemail or WhatsApp message.
